Gujrat Titans and Rajasthan Royals Fighting for IPL 2022 Title

Newcomer Gujrat Titans will be looking to grab the title of Indian Premier League (IPL) in their debut season as they take on Jos Buttler inspired Rajasthan Royals.

The final match of IPL 2022 will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium and is expected to be the most most-attended cricket match in India. Around 1,25,000 fans are expected to be attended at one of the biggest Cricket stadium in the world.

The match is pushed 15-minutes back to 20:00 because of the cultural ceremony ahead of the final match. The ceremony starts at 18:30 and will be ended by 19:30 before the toss. The match will start at 20:00.

This is the first that Hardik Pandya is leading a IPL side and this is second time for Royals’ skipper Sanju Sampson. Both of them have been performing brillianlty in the league along with their good captaincy. Hardik Pandya is blessed with some explosive hard hitters in the name of Miller, Tewatia and Rashid Khan. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals has been influenced by explosive and consistent batting from Buttler who has already made 4 centuries in this year’s IPL. Similarly, Simron Hetmyer has been the perfect finisher for the royals.

Yuzi Chahal has been the perfect wicket-taker for Rajasthan and is leading the race for Purple cap with 26 wickets. For the titans, Rashid Khan has been bowling with an economy of just above 6 and Shami has been the wicket-taking bowler along with Khan.

Gujrat Titans and Rajasthan Royals finished as top two in the group stage and Titans qualified for the finals after defeating Rajasthan in the Qaulifier 1. However, Rajasthan ensured the meeting with the same opponent in the final after convienently defeating Royals Challengers Bangalore in the Qualifier 2.
