

Nepal to Take on Singapore in ICC T20 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Opener
Nepal has been placed in Group A with teams from Oman, Singapore, and Malaysia for the forthcoming ICC T20 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Asia Regional Finals.
This qualifier is set to kick off on October 30 and will be held at two venues in Nepal: the TU Cricket Ground and the Mulpani Cricket Ground. These grounds will host all qualifier matches.
In contrast, Group B includes teams from the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Hong Kong, and the champion of Qualifier A, which comprises Kuwait, Maldives, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
Nepal’s first match in the qualifier will be against Singapore, slated for October 30 at the TU Cricket Ground. They’ll then face Malaysia at the same venue the following day. Their final group stage match will be against Oman on November 2nd.
The top two teams from both groups will progress to the semi-finals. Winners of the semi-finals will earn their spot in the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2024.
